The IMIC Instructor certification is the second level of certification. This three-day course (7-8 hours per day) is designed to train, prepare and certify mountain bike coaches to guide mountain bike groups and conduct beginner level coaching. Once obtained, the IMIC Instructor certification qualifies an individual to:
- Lead individual or group mountain bike rides
- Provide trail side repair support (fix flat, broken chain, shifting adjustments)
- Provide mountain bike instruction on bike basics
- Provide private instruction for beginner level riders
- Organize and instruct beginner level clinics/camps/events
- Provide appropriate bike set up recommendations (bar/seat height, brake/shifter positioning, basic compression & rebound settings)
- Support IMIC Coaches and Master Coaches at clinics/camps/events
Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- 5+ years mountain biking experience
- Basic First Aid certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate about riding and a strong desire to help others have more fun and progress safely.

Cancellation Policy
- Up to fourteen days before the camp date - Full refund, less $50 administrative fee.
- Between Thirteen to Three days of the camp date - 50% refund.
- Within 72 hours of the camp date or "no show" - No refund.
